Behavioral Medicine

A Therapeutic Approach to Self-Understanding

The comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients combine state-of-the-art medical, behavioral and pharmacological interventions utilizing a social systems approach to treatment.

A patient’s recovery depends his/her active involvement in  treatment. Physicians and staff help patients and families understand the individual treatment plan in order to become a full participant in the therapeutic experience.

The Behavioral Medicine Program emphasizes real-life atmosphere, where patients can practice more-effective ways of solving problems and relating to family and community. The therapeutic experience stresses social interaction as a means of revealing new patterns of self-understanding.

All treatments are confidential and provided under the direction of board-certified psychiatrists and a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, mental health workers, therapists and social workers.
