The Cancer Resource Center at Saint Anthony Memorial provides a comprehensive resource center for cancer survivors, caregivers, hospital staff, and the community. The center features brochures, books for children and adults, videotapes and website access for patient education/information. The Centers’ materials include information to assist the cancer survivor, caregivers, and their families throughout the cancer journey. Resources for healthy living, cancer prevention, and awareness are also available. The Center materials are free; some items may have to be returned for other’s use.
Important aspects of the Center include, but are not limited to:
· Take home pamphlets, handouts, and booklets from reputable cancer organizations.
· Internet access with links to reputable cancer websites.
· Books and tapes for viewing during hours of operation or available for loan.
· Oncology Certified Nurses accessible for questions and resource access.
· Information on cancer support groups, Look Good…Feel Better programs, local
cancer screenings, health fairs, etc. provided by Saint Anthony Memorial.
· Hours of operation variable but list of reference materials and request forms will
be available at all times.
